A Day in the Life

A Day in the life as a Frascati Alto resident

Working From Home

7:00 am

Wake up and am greeted by the stunning sea views from my gorgeous dual aspect apartment

7:20 am

Take the lift to Yoga Hub, fitting in a reformer pilates class before I start work, living right above a pilates studio makes it all that easier.

8:15 am

Feeling great after a brilliant work out, time to grab an ice coffee and some freshly baked banana bread from Natural Bakery

8:30 am

Simply jumping back in the lift to go back to my gorgeous apartment to shower and change

9:00 -11:00 am

login into work from my desk which is set up in my living room, its back to back meetings this morning, glad I had my banana bread.

11:00 am

Catch up Zoom call with the team which is taken on the patio overlooking the landscaped communal garden. Great to be able to switch positions throughout the day and thankfully the wifi is perfect throughout the whole development and apartment.

1:00 pm

Lunchtime – phone has been acting up so drop it into Vodaphone to have a look at, while waiting, pop into Boots and collect a prescription, pick up some new cosmetics and slip into Kai’s Kitchen to get some lunch.

2:00 – 5:00pm

After lunch move with laptop to the lobby and sit in one of the workstations overlooking Dublin Mountains, what works for me in Alto Frascati is the options of where to work other than a living room.

5:00 pm

After work finishes time for a quick walk in Blackrock Park before picking up a birthday cake and some wine and cheese in Marks & Spencers, friends are coming over to celebrate a birthday this evening.

7:00 pm

Wine and cheese on the landscaped roof top garden before its back to the apartment for some delicious takeaway from Camille Thai.

Going to the Office

6:30 am:

Wake up. Having F45 below the apartments motivates for an early start and to get a work out in before heading into the office.

7:30 am

Showered and ready for the day with plenty of time to grab a coffee and breakfast from the Natural Bakery before the short 8 min walk to the DART station

8:15 am

Arrive at my office, the commute from the apartment to work is so easy and quick – just 13 mins on the DART to Grand Canal Dock. Including the walk to the DART station its 21 minutes door to door!

2:00 pm

Remember I am cycling home tonight so decide to set my hot water to come on for when I am home – use the remote heating app to plan a cosy return to the apartment.

5:00 pm

Left the bike in the office yesterday, as suits best to alternate between taking the DART and cycling throughout the week, the cycle is so easy it takes 25 minutes to get home.

5:30 pm

It’s a really nice summer’s evening once I get home so decide to meet some friends for a quick dip in the sea.

6:00 pm

We meet at Seapoint – so lucky its just 6 minute cycle from my home, there is a great cycle path along the coast to Dun Laoghaire.

7:00 pm

After the swim the gang come back to Alto Frascati as it is so close, pick up some dinner in M & S for before we take the lift to the apartment. Everything is so much easier and is so convenient being all under one roof. Rarely use my car living here. Everything required is a lift ride or few minute’s walk / cycle away. Car stays securely in the underground car park where there are plenty of electric chargers for it is needed!
